A paused agent leaves a gap in the data, and a gap looks like failure to anyone who wasn't told about the pause. A missing bar where the agent was off all day. A short one where it was off for part of it.
What changed
Every agent chart now marks the days the agent wasn’t running. A yellow band sits under the affected day, so the shortfall has a visible cause rather than looking like a bad week.
Hover it and the tooltip tells you the extent, because a full day off and an hour off are not the same thing. A whole day says so plainly. A partial pause says how much of the day it covered, so you can judge how much weight to give the number. Either way there’s a link straight to Events history if you want to know why it happened.
It works the same on bar charts, lines and every other results view, so you never have to remember which charts show pauses and which quietly average them in.
- Every agent, every chart, with the same yellow marker throughout.
- Full day or partial, spelled out in the tooltip rather than left to guess.
- A link to Events history, for the reason behind the pause.
